I visited a friend at an antique shop and saw this beautiful antique dressing table. I absolutely adore bridal portraits and immediately had this idea of a bride getting ready outside in the forest at beautiful dressing table decorated with soft flowers and pearls.

When I have an idea in my head I always make it happen. The dressing table I saw was sold just before the shoot and when the Karenza, the make-up lady arrived at 11:30 on the morning of the shoot we had everything organized except for the key element…the dressing table!

I found one on gumtree, but when I phoned it was already sold, contacted the client who bought it and to my relief she had a little shop called Poppi se Shoppi and agreed to lend the table to me.

The shoot was everything I hoped for and more. I love the flower details on the dressing table, the reflection of the trees in the mirror and the pure beauty of a bride getting dressed outside.
